Why did they remove some of the permanent designer collections?

Why did they remove some of the permanent designer collections? Some I remember are miniature, blanche, and the anime inspired one. I saw some people using them in the fashion contests recently but when I clicked on what they're wearing, the name of the collection doesn't show up and it says they're unavailable. Will they ever come back?
