It doesnt give me the option of multiple colors for different items. When I unlock a new collection, it only gives me one of the colors? Does this have anything to do with the age it asks you for? How do I get all of the possible iteam colors?

When you obtain the paint bottles, then tap the left downside of the item that you want to change color.
To change colours, you will need a rainbow paint bottle that you can earn from the daily spin. I’m not sure how to do it from there, but if you fiddle with it, I’m sure you can find it.
