What are the best defensive heroes to use for the wall of the stronghold?

I saw that the wall is a garrison. Also some hero are classified “garrison”. I assume that heroes are classified by their specialty: infantry, distance, cavalry, and garrison. There are some symbol on the top corner representing this classification. There are also classes: star, A, B, and C. From this I would guess that the highest class garrison hero is the best for the Wall.
