Can I play the same instance on multiple devices, pcs?

Yep. You just need to be signed in to one of the recognized sources (in Settings>Account). Then sign in on your other device. You'll have to suffer through the beginning bit of the game again (per device), but then you can switch to your current game.

The game calls it "Bind"/"Binding", btw.
