For gifts (like the daily gifts) or the money amphores for instance, that I can merge to give them a higher level with a higher reward - is it possible to get a certain number of items first before they vanish and then still merge them for even more rewards with a higher level?

I put my daily gift into storage as soon as I get it, then take it out to add the next one and put it back into storage.
