Chapter 5 Walkthrough

Welcome to chapter 5 of Strange Case 3: Ghost Train. In chapter 4 we found our clues in the mysterious portal to let us move forward. Now in chapter 5 we have another ghostly train car to work our way through.

Strange Case 3: Ghost Train - Chapter 5 Walkthrough

This is the bar car, the conductor is serving drinks.

Collect a Coffee Grinder from the left side of the bar. Notice also the menu board on the right.

Move to the right, there is a Juke box here. Collect an Empty Glass from the table.

View the Juke box to see that there are buttons, these are Spring, Summer, a broken button and a missing button.

Turn Ghost vision ON. You are now seeing a tree in a greenhouse.

View the small shelves and collect a Garden Trowel.

Then view a small box on the shelves to find a puzzle.

There is a grid with 16 Gold circles on it and 9 blue diamonds. The center of the grid is blue.

You can tap any of the inner pieces to rotate all of the 8 pieces around it.

Arrange all of the pieces so that the blues ones are in the center square and the gold ones are around the outer edge .

Once done the box opens and you can collect a Seed of evil and a Golden Key.

The view the paper in the center to read information about the Seed of evil.

Now view a gold bird cage hanging on the tree. Use the golden key on the lock to open it.

Collect the Egg.

Move to the left to see the other side of the tree. There are three nests in the tree.

View the nests and place the egg that you have into the center one.

Now view a pot of soil on the floor. Use the Garden Trowel to dig a small hole. Then place the Seed of evil in it.

Notice the calendar on the wall. 4th March - It is Spring.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF. Then move to the right to see the Juke box again. View the Juke Box.

Tap the second button to select Summer.

Turn Ghost Vision ON. Then in the tree you will see an Apple. Collect it.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF. And return to the bar on the left. View the Bartender.

Give the Apple to the Bartender, He will produce a drink. Tap this to collect a Cocktail decoration.

Then also give the Bartender the Lucky Pound. He will produce another drink. Collect another Cocktail decoration.

Turn Ghost Vision ON. You can check the calendar to see that it is now July.

Then view the birds in the tree that have appeared from the eggs.

Give the first cocktail decoration (eye on a toothpick) to the center bird. You will get the Jukebox Button.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF and return to the Juke Box. Add the winter button on the right. Press the button to change to Winter.

Turn Ghost Vision ON, Then select the empty glass in your inventory and use it on the snow at the base of the tree. You will get a Glass of Snow.

Move to the left and view the nests in the tree, there is only a single bird skeleton now. Tap this to collect the Bird Bones.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF and return to the Juke Box. Press the button for Spring.

Turn Ghost Vision ON, then view the shelves and place the Glass of Snow here.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF, view the Juke box and press the button for Summer.

Turn Ghost Vision ON and view the shelves. Collect a Glass of Water.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF and use the juke box to change to Spring again, then turn Ghost Vision ON and move to the left to view the pot of soil with the seed.

Use the Garden trowel to cover it with soil and then use the glass of water to water it.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF and use the juke box to change to Summer again. Then turn Ghost Vision ON and return to the pot of soil to see that a plant has grown.

Collect the Tomato.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF and view the Bartender. Give him the Tomato and you will receive a Bloody Mary.

Move to the Juke Box and change the season to Spring. Then turn Ghost Vision ON and move to the left to find the plant pot.

View your inventory. Here you need to drag the bird bones to the coffee grinder, this will give you Bone Powder.

Then drag the Ear to the grinder, this will give you Flesh Powder.

Finally combine the two powders to then get Fertilizer.

View the pot and use the Trowel to uncover the seed. Then add the Fertilizer from your inventory to it.

Next use the trowel again to cover it with soil and then add the Bloody Mary to water it.

Turn Ghost Vision OFF and use the jukebox to change to Summer. Then turn Ghost Vision ON and return to the plant pot.

A plant has grown and you can collect a Weird Key.

Move to the right. Use the Weird key on the door to open it and then pass through to the next car.
