As an addition to the main game mode there are also a set of challenges to be done. These are similar to the main mode but instead of being an endless run they are short and the challenge is to get to the end of each.
The big advantage to this mode over the other is that each challenge features a fixed set of items to avoid and keep safe from. This means that you can play and replay the level and learn the pattern of obstacles that will approach you and how best to counter them.
If you are having trouble with the main game mode you may find this mode more appealing. And practicing here as you get to grips with the specific sets of obstacles will probably help you in the long run.
