As stated by the developer, Night of the Full Moon is a deck-building roguelike game which is inspired by Dream Quest. Whenever you fight opponent, you’ll be taking turns. Cards that you receive will have different effects and you’ll get action points as well.
You’ll progress through the story to obtain new cards, delete ones you don’t need, and then level up cards that you like. Your characters should have different properties available for different kinds of effects.
From the main screen you’ll be shown a very simple menu. On the upper left are the messages, on the upper right are settings. Adventure mode is shown on the lower left, and achievements can be viewed on the lower right as you unlock them.
Play through Adventure
When starting with Adventure, you’ll get to play as a Knight class since this is the free one available. You can choose other classes if you purchase them from the store. You can choose between a Normal and Hard I difficulty. Once you start, you can the current chapter on top, as well as the remaining pages that you’ll have to finish in order to complete the area.There are 3 “pages” shown, these can be enemies, NPCs, Shops, and Actions that you can do.Fight Monsters
When you choose an enemy page, you should know that you can engage a battle if you see a level beneath their name and you can press the Fight button.When fighting, you’ll see the enemy up ahead with their HP. Cards will be shown below you, as well as your HP, action points, deck, and the end turn button. The game follows a turn-based system and you will use the cards that you draw to fight.
* Attack Cards – Deals Damage
* Action Cards – Provides different effects based on the card. Use them when you can trigger their listed effect.
* Equipment Cards – Provides bonuses to your stats
To use a card, pick your choice and then drag the card towards your opponent. You can use cards that are in your hand until the “End Turn” button starts blinking.
