I did the minotaur cave on Odysseum but I never encountered the Minotaur so I never got the gold head..

I did the minotaur cave on Odysseum but I never encountered the Minotaur so I never got the gold head to place on the column. Now I seem to be stuck. I've done everything else in Odysseum but I can't complete the portal. Any ideas anyone? I suspect it's a glitch but don't want to restart the game from the beginning.

Go under skeltons hanging in the cave there You can find Minotaurus as main enemy in Minotaurus's lair/dungeon. After wining the battle against hím You can continue to build patch to golden Minotaurus head.
