What’s up with the piggy bank? I can’t open it it just keeps flashing.

That IS odd. They come totally open, and “ready to go”… are you out of space? You need open spaces for the coins and diamonds that the piggy gives. Also, you might want to save the pigs and merge them. The level 3 pig with (the gold ears) gives a TON of money and diamonds.
