My Hedge Shears lvl 8, garden scissors have a blue check mark on instead of the regular green one (the one when it fulfils a quest) what does this mean? It almost like like a verification mark.

The update added daily tasks to do. They are shown on the upper right side under the settings gear in a chest. Blue check marks indicate items needed for daily tasks.

Yes..you just create the item on the left, then you can claim the chest. When you see the blue checkmark you know to go back to claimGuest Replied
But it will take that item from your board, just like completing a task does. So if you want to complete the task more than you want the daily reward, don't do the daily. Made that crucial mistake lolGuest Answered:
Blue check marks means you can trade an item instead of use it as a task item which are green checks
