In the recent update that adds the Casey's sign event, there are new (different) butterflies that pop out of the orange flowers. Do they do anything? Do I need them?
You inadvertently answered my question which was where do I get butterflies. After you merge the rewards from the Casey event, it appears that you'll need fully evolved moths (from the light posts) and butterflies to make the level 6 (inflatable toucan) evolve, similar to the mixer with the watermelons in the event, and presumably that will generate something that will eventually merge into the sign. I have no butterflies to test this theory, guess I'll go work on orange flowers.
When you complete the new event Casey and Skatie you receive floaties, merging them at some point (lev. 6) the floating require moots that you can get with lamps and butterflies.
Can you please explain which flowers are necessary for get butterflies?
Yes, you need them to complete one of the rubber ring that comes after the event just like the watermelon does with the blender
