Ignatius Boulton how do I keep items such as flamingo and tin cans when event ends or do I sell everything and they become available elsewhere?

The items you make in Ignatius Boulton will simply disappear when the 3 days is up. Set an alarm and sell them before the time is up. You can’t keep any of it. If you earned items like the green stones and plant urns you will be given those items at the end of the event to keep.
