If I tap a cabinet or something that is flashing but I don’t take all the items out of it (it’s still flashing at this time) will it continue to build items until I go back to it or when I do will it only give me the original pieces it was going to and then I have to wait for the timer to rebuild?

It will continue to build items and be full again when you get back to it later if enough time has elapsed.
