Is there a strategy for keeping and dropping game friends, to acquire more gifts more quickly perhaps? I notice that fairly often after I "befriend" a higher level player and our "closeness" level is still low, they will apparently quickly drop me or otherwise leave my list of twenty. Since I log in daily and always send gifts, I am not sure if there is a common strategy of using a fast turnaround to request/drop friends multiple times a day? (heheeh, this question feels kind of pitiful, like I am sadly lamenting being dumped but I am just curious!!

I could see it being possible to farm friend gifts by continuously friending people and then removing after receiving gifts, though that sounds like a lot of work as you'd need to check throughout the day and you'd need to get at least 21 gifts a day to try and "break even" compared to normal means.

I usually clean up my friends list and remove anyone who hasn't been on in over 2 days, perhaps some people are more strict than that and remove if they see more than 24hrs.

Thanks much! And that makes sense. I usually wait a couple weeks before dropping an inactive friend but maybe I will begin doing so more quickly.

And in the meantime, I will be brave and not cry roo much when someone drops me even when less than a day has passed and I gifted them ASAP. ;)
