How to get fruit?

To get fruit you'll need the fruit basket which starts to give fruit from level 3.

You get the fruit basket from the store shelf which starts life as nuts and bolts.

After you have extracted everything from the fruit basket it will vanish, and you'll have to get a new one from the shelf and take it to level 3 again to get more fruit.
