For the luck items you have to purchase 2 epic chests and merge them to create a level 2 epic chest, then need the roulette wheel.

To get gym stuff you’ll need to get or build a gym bag. Those pieces become available when a certain piece of the board gets unlocked. As for the luck items, I have no idea. I’m trying to find that myself.

You should get a red chest soon after turning 34 (background is a gym). I got 2 small weight benches & combining them gave me a bench press tool to make gym stuff.For more questions for Merge Friends check out the answers page where you can search or ask your own question.
