How to Melt or Break Frozen Blocks

If you want to melt a frozen block in Longleaf Valley, there are two ways to do this:

  1. Use a the special Blocker Breaker item
  2. Make a campfire

We take a look at how to do both of these in Longleaf Valley to melt any annoying frozen block on the game board and get whatever was frozen.

Use the Blocker Breaker on a Frozen Block

The easiest way is to use a Block Breaker, this will break open the frozen block right away and give you access, the only problem is that this is a special item, so you will never get many of these in the game. And you may have a better use for a Blocker Breaker somewhere else in the game.

You get Blocker Breaker items from special chest or special rewards as you play through the game. The items are rare, so use with caution.

How to Melt a Frozen Block with a Campfire

The other way to get access to a frozen block is to use a campfire. To do this you'll need reach level 12 in the game, then get the Matchbox. From the matchbox you can get matches, keep merging them until you get the campfire, then use it on a frozen block to get access to it.

The best way probably is to use the matches, assuming you are past level 12. Getting to level 12 is not too difficult, so unless you need something urgently, I would use the lit matches method as explained above instead of using a Blocker Breaker

What are Frozen Blocks

Frozen blocks are the ones that look like an ice cube with something inside of them, not to be confused with the green blocks that you've not unlocked yet or the ones that look there is an item on a broken block - to break those you just have to merge the same item onto it.
