The game has a large variety of weapons to choose from and you can freely swap them between operatives, as long as they can use the specific weapon types. Of course, these weapons come in their own rarity as well, with the 4-star and 5-star weapons leading the top of the fray. In this article, we will discuss the various methods of obtaining weapons as well as methods of improving them to maximize your operatives' combat prowess.

Regular Supply

The Shop > Regular Supply option gives you a chance to purchase a purple (4-star) weapon for 300000 silverbucks. The selection refreshes every 24 hours. If you have a lot of money lying around, investing on purple weapons can be worth it, especially if you're using the duplicate copies as modification materials.

Circulation Hub

In the Shop > Circulation Hub menu, there are two tabs where you can exchange weapons: "Selected Rewards'' and Weapon Exchange. In Selected Rewards, you'll be able to exchange a currency called Reward Code for a 5-star weapon. You'll collect Reward Codes whenever you get copies of 4-star and 5-star operatives and weapons. You'll need 480 Reward Codes to pick a 5-star weapon of your choice though most players will opt to exchange Reward Codes for Manifestation Echo Covenants since that is a premium currency for pulling limited 5-star operatives.

Under the Circulation Hub as well, you'll find the Weapon Exchange feature. In this option, you can only exchange for weapons that you have already owned at one point. Furthermore, the currency needed for this feature is called Weapon Components - which can only be obtained by Decomposing (or salvaging) orange-tier weapons. This is not a particularly useful feature for most players, especially those with limited access to orange-tier/5-star weapons.

Limited and Permanent Echo (Gacha) Banners

Similar to operatives, weapons also come in Limited and Permanent banners. Limited weapons are typically the signature weapons of the featured operatives and will require a different resource called "Weapon Modding Agreement". This is the equivalent of "Manifestation Echo Covenant" which is a rare resource for pulling limited characters. Special weapons featured in the limited banner will not appear as standard 5-star items in the shop nor will you have the chance to get them from the permanent weapon banner. They're that exclusive and rare.

On the other hand, the permanent weapon pool called "Hearth of Midgard" will give you a chance to pull one of the permanent orange-tier weapons (that you can also find in the shop).

Oriented-Echo

Additionally, you can also set a preferred orange-tier weapon that increases its appearance rate by 50%. This means if you ever manage to pull an orange-tier weapon, it's 50% more likely that you'll get your preferred weapon. If ever your preferred weapon didn't appear, the next orange-tier weapon you'll get is guaranteed to be the one you've set as your preferred weapon, (regardless if you trigger it before or on the guaranteed pity counter).

Pity System

Both limited and permanent banners have this gacha system called the "pity system" which will ensure that you'll get a guaranteed purple tier (4-star) or higher weapon or operative every 10 pulls. Additionally, you'll also get a guaranteed 5-star weapon or operative after reaching 60 and 80 pulls respectively. If you're able to get a 5-star weapon or operative before reaching the "guaranteed pull" (60th for weapon, 80th for operative), the pity counter will reset. Each banner keeps track of their own pity counter so you need to make sure that you're pulling in the right banner. You can find this counter in the lower-left corner of the Echo Pool (banner) screen.

Summary

To sum it up, your four primary weapon sources are:

  • Shop > Regular Supply
  • Shop > Circulation Hub > Selected Rewards
  • Shop > Circulation Hub > Weapon Exchange
  • Limited weapon echo pool (gacha)
  • Permanent weapon echo pool (Hearth of Midgard)

As a general tip when pulling for weapons, consider using your premium currency (DigiCash) on exchanging for Weapon Modding Agreement pieces instead of the standard weapon banner's resource (Weapons Permit).
