At the moment I just get a black screen when I try to open the app. There is no option to refresh the app when I go to the AppStore. Is it a glitch or is it me.?

Answering my own question - should have taken the usual advice! I switched off the iPad and switched it back on again. All is now well. This should be the go to solution before panic.
