Can someone tell me when I try to get free gold or energy my screen goes black with a hand and a shield with a check mark in it and I can't do anything what can I do? please help.

I would guess that it is having trouble loading the video advert to show to you. Possibly your connection is not good or the server network that supplies the ads is not working correctly in your area.
Hopefully it will start working for you again soon.
