Hidden Escape: Murder Mystery 2 is a puzzle adventure game from Vincell Studios. A sequel to the first Hidden Escape: Murder Mystery game and featuring a return of the main characters, Mallory and Mark

Murder Mystery 2 will continue the story of our protagonists and let you help them solve a murder that hasn't happened yet as you glimpse into the future. The game is set over 10 chapters and is still in development and you can check though this guide for helpful hints and puzzle solutions to help you if you get stuck. We begin here with Chapter 1.

Chapter 1 - Anniversary Jitters Walkthrough

As you begin Mark is walking the dog, Buttercup, past a Florists as the dog knocks down some flowers. You need to help clean up the mess she made.

Collect the 3 fallen flower post from the ground, then use then on the table by the dog to place then and start a puzzle.

Flower Pot Puzzle

• Tap pairs of pots to swap their position.
• You need to arrange them so that matching flowers are next to each other.
• When a pot is in the correct place you will see a green tick.

Flower Shop

Now you enter the shop, you need to choose some flowers. You will see an image on your phone.

Hidden Flower Puzzle

• This is hidden object puzzle.
• You need to tap on 10 flowers in the photograph that match the silhouettes at the bottom of the screen.
• These will be single flowers that stand out from the surroundings

You then collect the phone into your inventory. Use the Phone on Amanda, the shop owner ans she will give you a list of flower names.

Collect the Remote from the stool, then open the drawer that is next to the stool and collect some fuses.

Next open the electrical box on the top right and you can replace the broken fuses in side. This starts a puzzle

Fuse box puzzle

• You need to activate all of the empty squares (not the red ones).
• Tap a square to start and then chose a direction to move in.
• You can only move onto the grey squares so you need to be careful not to block your path.

A screen turns on to the left of the fuse box. An advert for Chronos, view this.

Use the remote on the display to view it also.

Tap either button to change to a second screen. This has information about plant growing, including a clue.

Now close that view and tap on a purple glowing light above the table on the right of the shop. You will see a control panel for the light.

Enter the number 32 seen on the display. This makes the basket of flowers below it grow, tap on the basket to view the flower and start a puzzle game.

Matching Flowers Puzzle

• Search the area to find hidden flowers from the list.
• There are 5 pairs of matching flowers.
• Tap leaves and other items to move them and find the flowers behind.
• Find the matching pairs to add them to the basket in the center.

You now collect the basket of flowers.

After the conversation you are at the house. Collect the parcel from the front step and then go inside.

House

Place the parcel on the table by the sofa, and then collect the scissors from the same table.

Use them on the parcel to open it.

Now tap on the box that was inside to start a puzzle.

Left Side

• Tap the arrow on the left first to view the left side panel.
• Drag the highlighted square around the board, then use the arrow on the square to move the row or column that is it over.
• Arrange the lines on the board so that the blue lines will flow from the left to the right.

Right Side

• On the right we have another grid with hexagons.
• Each one has 1, 2 or 3 nodes in it.
• Drag and place the hexagon so that the nodes join up.
• You need to make sure that all nodes are connected and the final one connects to the line on the right.

The box opens and you discover VR headsets.
