Why is it the Pilots go into a 5V5battle, they win that game, but still have to spend GOLD to open..

Why is it the Pilots go into a 5V5battle, they win that game, but still have to spend GOLD to open the CRATES, or wait 3-24 hours...???
If you win a battle, then you should get the CRATE for FREE, and not have to spend GOLD for it
Maybe they need to give a WINNING CRATE, and a LOSER CRATE you have to wait for, or pay for.
