Wings of Heroes is an aviation combat game. Remember to run through the tutorial to pick up some free gold and get to know the basic controls. It's pretty painless and you'll be done in about five minutes.

There are a few methods of control to use in this game, you are best advised to try all three to see which one works best for you. My preference was the joystick mode.

Watch your altitude! Its very easy to forget how low you are getting especially when attacking ground based targets, watch your altitude does not get too low or you might end up crashing.

Unlock more planes. There are plenty of planes to be unlocked, keep playing to unlock the better ones, and then when you have them, don't forget to get them upgraded to increase their speed, attack and maneuverability.

To upgrade planes you'll need silver and gold, so try to grind that as you play the game. This may mean opting to watch some ads to get double rewards or to speed up upgrades, but if your plan it to get upgrades then watching ads is a great and free way to do it.

Achievements

Check your achievements. This is the rosette icon on the right of the screen, this will tell you what you need to do to complete certain achievements and what reward you will be given, and also will tell you if any rewards are waiting to be claimed.
