Star Trek Lower Decks Mobile Cheats and Tips

These tips are more geared towards the beginner player that has just loaded up the app and wondering what it's all about. We'll go through our best tips for the game, and work out how to get the most free lithium and dilithium quickly.

1. Take the x2 Offer

As soon as you get started in the game take the x2 ad offer. This will speed things up a lot and it'll only cost you about 30 seconds of your time to watch a video ad. The x2 speedup lasts for a couple of hours and you can extend this with more views.

2. Follow the Quest list at the top

The idea of this idle game is that you complete the given quests at the top of the screen. Each one brings you a step closer to completing a chapter and moving onto the next one.

You'll also usually get a chest to open that could have cards, characters, dilithium or other goodies.

3. End Chapter

As soon as you are given the option, end the chapter. This will bring you to the next one. You'll start over with your merit points, but your upgrades will carry over.

4. Upgrade simulations

Upgrading simulations last for the whole of the game, and don't reset when you move on to the next chapter. Hit the spanner icon at the bottom of the screen to see if any simulations can be upgraded or exactly what you need to obtain to make an upgrade.

Usually best to upgrade simulations when an upgrade simulation quest appears at the top of the screen as upgrades can take a lot of resources.

5. Upgrade Characters

You'll need to collect character cards and dilithium to upgrade characters. upgrades mean they will help you ear merit points at a greater rate. However, like simulation upgrades, character upgrades can be costly, so best to perform these when you are asked to do so as part of a quest.

6. Automate

The more simulators you can automate, the better, and usually it's best to automate the more expensive simulators, but they are also the most costly to apply automation to.

7. Add Holocrew

Adding holocrew is the basic way to increase the merit earning of a simulation. Keep adding more holocrew to simulations whenever you have spare merit coins. Adding to the more expensive simulators will give you the best return and faster rate of merit growth.

8. Hold onto your Lithium

Free Dilithium

While the pink dilithium can be relatively easy to come by, by completing chests and chapters, gold lithium is the premium currency in the game and it is a lot harder to come by, so don't waste it!

So there you go, complete the quests at the top of the screen, this will give you points towards completing the episode. When you get enough you get the option to complete the episode, do that, and basically start over keeping any upgrades. As the story progresses in the game, new simulators get unlocked and more character too.

One fun thing about this game is that there is a decent storlyline behind the game which you can follow as you complete each chapter, in our opinion, it's a really well made game, and a nice take on the idle theme.

At the time of writing there are no redeem codes, or gift codes for Start Trek Lower Decks Mobile. When we played the game, we could not see a space to redeem codes either, so we don't think there will be codes for this game anytime soon.

How to get more lithium?

Lithium is really hard to get in the game. You'll get some in the early chapters for free, but generally the accumulation of lithium can be a bit slow. Luckily you don't need it for anything specific, but you can convert it to dilithium if you need some in an emergency.

I'm on a quest but can't seem to make enough credits to advance please help with my problem?
