How to upgrade items in SOL EX???
First, you need to obtain and upgrading stone in order to upgrade your weapon and armor. Upgrade stone can be obtained randomly by fighting the enemies. If you already got the stone, open the menu tab and check your inventory. Option of upgrade/enchant should be on the downleft corner of inventory menu. Please remember if you're about to upgrade/enchant your weapon/armor, they must be currently unequiped.
You can go to greystone and find Roger to reset your skill
How to catch gem monsters and gift monsters?
They're just outside of towns wherever the inbox message tells you to go.
Every place in S O L ex has its waypoint, so make sure to open the lock of waypoint at every place you've been to travel faster. If you can't recognize what a waypoint is, it's a stage-like ring with a yellow mark . When you already unlocked the waypoint of a place on the map, just click the map and click the place you want to go. On the downright corner you'll see the name of the place with waypoint symbol and green arrow mark. Just click the arrow and you will know the rest.
