I’m new, level 8, and I’m now going right thru crates and bombs in the water rather than picking..

I’m new, level 8, and I’m now going right thru crates and bombs in the water rather than picking them up, even after I sink a ship. I have room on board for it, if that’s the issue. I don’t know why I’m no longer collecting anything. Help?

You can only collect items if you have room on your ship. Move those items to an island until you can use them.
