How do you finish pier?

You need screws to fix/upgrade the pier. You get these from the traders in the chests they drop.
Traders show up on your home island, but they want the stuff you mine on Oyster Cove: spice, grog, of helmets.
Each of these needs tools to mine. Tool parts are found in the boxes you get by sinking ships.
