Multiversus is a game that's developed by Warner Bros. Games studio, and it started out as a free-to-play game considered as an open beta for players to try out. Here, you'll be able to choose a variety of characters from different universes and franchises, with characters such as Batman, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, and even LeBron James. Your main goal is to defeat your opponents by dealing damage, to increase the chances of knocking them off the stage.

Multiversus started out for free, and is considered to be an open beta game. The servers will close by June 2023, and they're preparing to launch in early 2024. Since its opening, characters have been added with different movesets. Since there's still time to play the game before closing, our Multiversus tier list will definitely help out in order for you to have an idea which characters excel in the game.

S+ Tier List

Batman

One of the most known characters available, Batman is also known as the Dark Knight and is considered one of the best characters in Multiversus. His moveset lets him use a variety of items at his disposal, such as the infamous Batarangs as his ranged attacks. He can also deal good attacks for close combat and debilitate opponents. With the perfect mix of melee and ranged attacks, Batman is a suitable character for you to master.

Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is probably one of the faces that you know when thinking of Looney Tunes, as well as Warner Bros. Similar to his shenanigans from the cartoons, Bugs Bunny can pull out items out of nowhere and use them in battle. He can use a mallet up close, or perhaps use a variety of items from his ACME box which can cause chaos on the battlefield. He can even use rockets to recover back to the stage!

Finn the Human

With his trusty sword at hand, Finn the Human is a character that excels in melee fights during battle. Not only can he attack his opponents with a lot of slashes, but he has a system where he can use coins to his advantage. Whether by dropping coins to damage enemies, or by picking them up in order to get buffs, he'll require some strategy for use. He can even move while charging up his ground attacks which will grant him mobility. If you want to master a character that requires preparation, then Finn is for you.

Harley Quinn

If you're the type who loves to mix things up and cause chaos, then Harley Quinn is the suitable character for you. She can strike enemies with confetti in order to debuff opponents and it's included in a lot of her moves. Once this debuff is maxed out, she can light them up and damage them more. She's also very quick and is able to deal fast attacks not only on the ground, but on the air as well.

Shaggy

Also known as Scooby Doo's best friend, Shaggy is one underdog character that can pack a punch. As one of the bruiser type characters available in the game, Shaggy excels in close combat that combines a mix of power as well as speed. He can build up rage and share it to allies for them to be enraged, this can result in a blast that can knock off enemies. By continuing to build up on his rage mechanic, he'll be able to get better versions of his specials which will deal more damage and hits.

Stripe

If you have watched the Gremlins movie, then you might be familiar with Stripe. He's one of the gremlins that our friend Gizmo has to encounter, and he's here in Multiversus to deal havoc. He can throw out multiple buzzsaws in order to deal damage to enemies, and this projectile can travel across floors and walls. He can also work well in close combat by using melee hits of strikes and biting. He's also quite chaotic because he has other projectiles that can detonate after a certain time, or according to your liking.

Velma

Also known as one of the brains of the Mystery Inc., Velma makes her way in Mutiversus as a support type character. Her skill set can help keep opponents at bay by cripping them, and she can provide different buffs for her allies in order for them to become stronger. Some of her attacks have some reach as well which makes her good at dealing additional damage at a distance. If you enjoy playing 2v2 battles and supporting teammates, then Velma is one of the best out there.
