Lost Chronicles Walkthrough - Part 2

This is Part 2 of our walkthrough for Lost Chronicles. In Part 1 you have arrived at the town and found a place to stay. Now after a nights rest you are woken up for breakfast.

Lost Chronicles Walkthrough - Part 2

Head down to the breakfast table and have a conversation with Helga. After this you have a new task

New Task - Start Training with Magnus

Head back to Magnus' house and talk to him.

New Task - Read the history of the settlement

First look on the bookshelves on the right, collect move coins (2).

Then look in the shelves in the center of the room by the statue holding scales. Collect coins (3).

Now tap on the door at the top of the stairs on the right. Then open it.

The attic is blocked by a Yanodia. You need to find some Shi-moon pollen.

Exit the house and return to the area with the tavern, there are some market stalls here. View the one on the left.

After a conversation you will get a new task and be able to buy the Shi-moon Pollen for 6 coins.

New task - Repair the Gate

Give the coins and collect the pollen.

Return to Magnus' house and use the pollen on the Yanodia. This will clear the way to the Attic.

Magnus' Attic Hidden Object

Another list of random items to find in the attic. The main item is the Book of Stories. You will find this in the drawers on the left, open the bottom drawer to find a key and then use the key to open the middle drawer to find the book.

After finding all of the items you will receive the book of stories. View this in your inventory and open it to collect a small key.

Now view the desk on the right of the room, there are 2 small doors on the back with a keyhole.

Use the small key to open them and collect a Handle. Now exit the house and return to the market area. Then tap to view the gate that is in the distance in the center of the scene.

View the panel on the right of it and add the handle to it. Then turn both handles. The panel will open.

Add the gear that you have to the mechanism and also the chain with carabiner. You will then talk to the shop keeper of the other market stall. He tells you you need to find the level that is in the basement.

To access the basement scene you will need another Lantern. You can gain these in several ways. You can buy one with crystals (the in game currency). Or you can get one from a Keeper or by completing other hidden object scenes.

Basement Hidden Object - Lever Arm

Find the items in the basement, the main item is the Lever arm, this is found on the lower left by the chain.

Once you have completed this return to the Gate and use the lever arm on it to open it. This completes the task.

Go through the gate to the field.

After talking to Thomas tap on the well on the right, then turn the handle to lift the bucket.

Collect the Keeper from the well. Then view the scarecrow on the left, use the knife on the patch on the left to collect a number 9.

Now tap the end of the path in the distance next to Thomas to move forward to the Lake.

New task - Inspect the Shore

There is a hidden object scene here but we cannot access it yet. First view the wooden gate on the left. Collect from it a Net.

New task - Gather a collection of wooden birds

Back up to the field and tap on the shore to the left of the stone altar.

Use the net here to collect the Leather bundle caught on the branch. Then view this in your inventory and use the knife to cut it open.

Collect a Keeper from the river and also some more coins. (8)

Now view the stone altar and add the keeper from the river to it to open it. This starts a puzzle.

• The layout of the puzzle may vary for you.
• Select the symbols and jump them over each other to clear them.
• This is like a game of solitaire, you need to clear all of the pieces except 1.
• Check the video below for help.

When complete you will collect a Fetid Root.

Go back to the lakeside and then you can view the hidden object scene by using the Fetid Root.

Swamp Hidden Object

The main item here is the Footprint Cast, find this on the sandy bit of the shore. Use the piece of wood on the left to scoop up the footprint to collect.

New Task - Burn the footprint cast.

Now back up and visit the Market stall of Godeloth. You will ask about Bird figurines. He has one for 9 coins. Give the money and collect the Wooden Duck.

You should now be able to open the Collections book and find that you have enough wooden birds to complete the collection. Tap 'Get' and you will collect. If you do not have enough of the other items you need then you can either buy with the Crystals or find then through repeating hidden object scenes.

Once you have the Wooden Birds return to the lake and view the wooden gate on the left again. Add the wooden birds to it.

You now see the wooden altar. Use the Keeper from the well here and you will start a puzzle.

• Slide the blocks around the board to release the pins.
• You will need to find ones that you can move to then make room for others to move.
• The layout of your board maybe different.
• Watch the video below for help.

You will then collect the Signet Ring. Back up and head into the Tavern again, then view the fire pit on the right. Add the Footprint cast to it.

Then use the fire tongs to pull it out and you can collect the Burnt Footprint.

New Task - Find a book about magical creatures.

Return to Magnus' house. View the book shelf on the right.

Use the signet ring to open the book you will then collect the Open book with creatures.

New Task - Learn about the creature

Return to the tavern and go to your room. Then view the table with the candles. Add the book to it and the Footprint cast.

Now view the book to see a puzzle.

• Find pairs of prints that match in the book.
• There are 10 pairs to find and match.
• You will then be left with 1 print that matches the cast.

You can now read the details about the Murchik.

After this you will sleep again to end day 2.
