How to get Crest Pieces Guide
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Guide

There are 24 levels in Lego Harry Potter - Years 5-7 and each one has four crest pieces that need to be found to complete the game. This breaks down to one crest piece on each level for each of the four houses at Hogwarts; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Some of the crest pieces can be found in story mode, while the rest have to be gained in free play, when you have other characters or abilities unlocked. Year 5 - Level 1: Dark Times

Crest 1:

Hit five floating buoys.

Crest 2:

Dig up the Weasley Box and use it to climb the sticky wall.

Crest 3:

Use Diffindo to create the tractor, then maneuver the tractor over 5 patches of grass.

Crest 4:

Fix the Yellow street cleaner vehicle and pick up 5 pieces of trash on the ground around the park.

Level 2: Dumbledore's Army

Crest 1:

Break the lock and apparate. Use the gun to attack six targets.

Crest 2:

Use Dark Wizard to control the person in the shop.

Crest 3:

Use the pet tunnel to knockoff the jars. Pull the handle and use Spectrespecs spell to create a tank. Connect the hose to the tank and pump some water, then build the valve and turn the dials to match the picture on the wall.

Crest 4:

Just use the Weasley box.

Level 3: Focus!

Crest 1:

Dig it up near the seesaw.

Crest 2:

Hit the five scrolls hanging on walls.

Crest 3:

Shoot six metal objects.

Crest 4:

Use Dark Wizard to stack the luggages on the cart.

Level 4: Kreacher Discomforts

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the blue shield on top of the door, if you managed to move the other 2 shields from the two previous areas, you'll get this piece.

Crest 2:

Use Diffindo and then Wingardium Leviosa to open the chest behind the red wall.

Crest 3:

Hit the cabinet near the bed, then use the apparate panel. Break the crate and open up the chest. You will not be able to climb up the stairs yet. Just use Wingardium Leviosa to move the glass faces in the paintings beside the stairs so you can climb up. If you shoot the locked door in the previous area, there will be another area.

Crest 4:

Use Dark Wizard magic on locked cabinet in the previous area to get ladle. Use Diffindo to gain access to the puzzle box. Use DELUM to move light to the right rear lamp, then shoot the dishes on the table. Switch to Harry. Equip his invisible cloak and walk across the moving painting. Use WiLe to move the blue shield on top. Shoot the yellow cabinet. Build the curtain pull using WiLe, then pull it down. Switch to Hermione, solve the simple puzzle box and get the door knob. Go back down the previous area.

Level 5: A Giant Virtuoso

Crest 1:

Use the key access.

Crest 2:

Use Hermione's plate and ride up the spider.

Crest 3:

Use Reducto to shoot the locked chest.

CREST 4:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the plants. Then water the plants and destroy flowers.

Level 6: A Veiled Threat

Crest 1:

Destroy five globes.

Crest 2:

Destroy the five globes that you will see in the first three areas of Year 5 - Level 6: A Veiled Threat.

Crest 3:

Destroy all 5 black and red rocks with a dark magic character in the large circular room with the archway and where you need to save 5 of your friends.

Crest 4:

Put out ten fires made by the dragon.

Year 6 - Level 1: Out of Retirement

Cest 1:

Use your Dark Wizard to get the Spectrespecs. Then use Spectrespecs to build shears, use Wingardium Leviosa to have shears trim the bushes next to the gate.

Crest 2:

Repair the tractor and run over five grass points.

Crest 3:

Fill up the tank with the Aguamenti spell.

Crest 4:

Use the Diffindo spell on the left side of the third level to create the rubber ball, then ride the ball across the wall.

Level 2: Just Desserts

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the object in the bar to get the first mug. Then shoot the brown wall in the back area to get the second mug. Finally, hit the cabinet on the upper level to get third mug.

Crest 2:

First use Deluminator to move light from left to right lamp, then use Hermione's plate to get the broom to clean the chimney.

Crest 3:

Pull the handle on the cabinet and give the hat to the wizard in the painting.

Crest 4:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on five lamps.

Level 3: A Not So Merry Christmas

Crest 1:

Shoot four yellow ducks.

Crest 2:

Use Dark Wizard on the TV.

Crest 3:

Dig up the pet tunnel and use WiLe to fix it. Use tunnel to get the ball, then use Wingardium Leviosa to put the ball into the basketball hoop.

Crest 4:

Dig up the Spectrespecs on the rightside area. Use Spectrespecs to build pump. Then the apparate panel and use Lumos on vines. Use key access.

Level 4: Love Hurts

Crest 1:

Use Reducto on the wall under the painting, and then use the key access.

Crest 2:

Pull the handle on the sink and ride water the upwards.

Crest 3:

Use Dark Wizard on the harp to put the wizard in the painting to sleep.

Crest 4:

Complete the three display cases. Fix the first, build the second, then clean up the last one.

Level 5: Felix Felicis

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on five yellow flowers.

Crest 2:

Use key access in the left room.

Crest 3:

Use Dark Wizard to move rocks off of the digsite. Dig up and build a scarecrow.

Crest 4:

Use Dark Wizard on three cobwebs.

Level 6: The Horcrux and the Hand

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the five objects in the area.

Crest 2:

Use Hermione's plate.

Crest 3:

Pull the handle on the snake statue.

Crest 4:

Use Deluminator to move the light to the lamp next to the vine. Use WiLe to remove the trashbin cover.

Year 7 - Part 1 - Level 1: The Seven Harrys

Crest 1:

Straighten up three pictures on the wall. One is on this area, two are in the previous area.

Crest 2:

Use Lumos on the shed, then use Wingardium Leviosa to build a wheelchair. Ride it over the hose.

Crest 3:

Build up three dove cotes, then shoot them.

Crest 4:

Shoot the fountain and dig up a gnome. Place the gnome next to other gnomes.

Part 1 - Level 2: Magic is Might

Crest 1:

Behind the golden statue on the left.

Crest 2:

Pull handle on the left side and shoot the five ducks.

Crest 3:

Use the key access.

Crest 4:

Use Dark Wizard on the chest and the scroll.

Part 1 - Level 3: In Grave Danger

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the five flower bouquets.

Crest 2:

Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the Weasley box and use the box to open the left gate, then use Deluminator to move light to lamp next to the red wall. Use Hermione's plate and use WiLe on the music player.

Crest 3:

Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the Weasley box and use the box to open left gate, then dig up the digsite and use Spectrespecs to build a statue.

Crest 4:

Use Wingardium Leviosa to throw the trash away and put the lid on the can.

Part 1 - Level 4: Sword and Locket

Crest 1:

Shoot three octopi.

Crest 2:

Pull up the Weasley box out of the ice and use the box to free it.

Crest 3:

Use Dark Wizard on the chest on the left side.

Crest 4:

Use Hermione's plate to get the jumper mushroom and jump up.

Part 1 - Level 5: Lovegood's Lunacy

Crest1:

Pull up five carrots from the garden.

Crest 2:

Shoot five crows.

Crest 3:

Use Deluminator to move the light from the first floor to the second floor.

Crest 4:

Repair the machine on left bench and clean up five dirt spots.

Part 1 - Level 6: Dobby!

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the plates on the table three times.

Crest 2:

Shoot three skeletons.

Crest 3:

Use Diffindo to build the cleaner and clean up five puddles.

Crest 4:

Use Dark Wizard on the object.

Part 2 - Level 1: The Thief's Downfall

Crest 1:

Use the Reducto spell to shoot four metal rocks.

Crest 2:

Use Dark Wizard on the music box on the left side area.

Crest 3:

Pull the handle on the crate to get Spectrespecs. Use the Spectrespecs to build the skull and shoot it.

Crest 4:

Pull the handle on the box to get the Spectrespecs, then use the Spectrespecs to build a firepit, then turn the handle.

Part 2 - Level 2: Back to School

Crest 1:

Shoot three wanted posters.

Crest 2:

Shoot three metal statues on the left wall.

Crest 3:

Use the key access.

Crest 4:

Solve the puzzle box on the right wall.

Part 2 - L3: Burning Bridges

Crest 1:

Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the three fish into the water.

Crest 2:

Shoot three skeletons. One in the previous area, two in this area, make sure to shoot the cobweb before the barrier and dig up.

Crest 3:

Use Dark Wizard to uncover the tank and fill up the tank with water.

Crest 4:

Use Deluminator to move the light from the left lamp to the right lamp above the basin. Fill the balloons with water.

Part 2 - Level 4: Fiend Fyre Frenzy

Crest 1:

Use Dark Wizard on the cage and use the Aguamenti spell on it.

Crest 2:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the three chests and build dancing skeletons. One in the first area, two in this area (the last one is behind the dragon.)

Crest 3:

Shoot the dragon and pull handle, then turn the handle on the music box.

Crest 4:

Use Dark Wizard on the cage.

Part 2 - Level 5: Snape's Tears

Crest 1:

Use Dark Wizard on the winch at the upper level area.

Crest 2:

Use Dark Wizard on three objects; first on the upper level area near the winch, second near the troll, third to the left of the troll blocking the exit.

Crest 3:

Pull up the handle to right of Snape.

Crest 4:

Repair the machine behind puzzle box on the left.
