How do you get Gold Characters?

The easiest and most expensive way is to purchase the Blind Box for $4.99. This will give you a random assortment of characters and definitely one gold one. The gold ones can com up automatically for 100 coins, though, so just keep getting characters and eventually you'll get a gold one.
