Escape from Mental Hospital Levels 36 - 40

This is a walkthrough for the eighth set of five levels of Escape from Mental Hospital. An escape room game from Peaksel Games.

The previous levels are covered in the walkthrough for levels 31 - 35. Now we continue with Levels 36 - 40.

Level 36 - Matteo Muller

Notice a clue on the drawers on the left of the room. Yellow Test tube.

Then look in the bin on the left of the door. Collect the Lighter Fluid and a Metal Inset.

Next view the bag on the bed and open it. Collect a Handle and an ID card.

Collect a Candle (1 of 2) from the radiator under the window. Then view the small set of drawers by the bed.

Add the handle to the top drawer and open it to collect a Light bulb.

Now look at a light box on the left wall of the room with three light bulbs. Add the light bulb that you have to this to start a puzzle.

The small lights below each bulb will flash in a sequence of green lights.

Tap the bulbs in the same sequence. You will need to do this three times.

Solution:

Collect a Lighter and a Screwdriver.

Next view the vent on the wall above the bed. Use the screwdriver to open it. Collect another Candle (2 of 2) and a Button Inset.

Now view the candle stick by the door. Place the 2 candles that you have.

View the lighter in your inventory and add the lighter fluid to it to fill it.

Next use the lighter on the candles to light them, Do this in the order of the numerals on the sticks.

You can now 'see' a card reader at the top of the door. Use the ID card on this to open it.

Go through to the next room.

First notice the clue of the purple test tube on the upper cabinets.

Next tap on the patient to see that they want a Medical Report.

View the box on the left wall by the door, add the Metal inset to it.

Rotate the 2 circles to line up the square tiles, this is now a clue.

View a drawer by the door to see a 4 digit code lock. Each number has a color above it.

Use the clue from above to get the code.

Collect a Reagent Bottle. and another Handle.

View the yellow radio on the floor under the bench. Use the screwdriver on this to open the side panel, collect a Battery.

Collect a Test tube from the chair on the right of the room.

Now view the wall cabinet doors in the center.

Add the handle and open the cupboard to collect another Test tube and an Empty battery tablet.

View the table in your inventory and add the battery to it. You will then be able to see a clue.

Now view the equipment on the center of the bench. Add the two test tubes to this.

You need to add the test tubes to the correct flasks. Notice the Red tube has 2 lines under it. We have seen 2 clues that give us the number for the purple and yellow tubes.

The image on the tablet shows the 3 flasks also with numbers.

Add test tube 1 (Purple) to flask 1 (Center)

Then Tube 2 (Red) to flask 2 (Right)

Then Tube 3 (Yellow) to flask 3 (Left)

You can now collect the Medical Report.

Give this to he Patient and he will give you an Arrow Clue. Now tap on the vent grate in the floor on the left. Look inside.

Add the Button inset to this and then also the Arrow clue. Now move the button arrows to copy the directions of those in the clue.

You can then collect the Pass code.

Use this on the door on the left to escape.

Level 37 - Sofia Hernandez

Collect a Locked Wallet from the chair on the left. Then also collect a Wheel handle from under the chair.

Open the cupboard on the left of the doors. Then move a cloth at the top and look inside to see a fish bowl. Notice the colored rocks at the bottom.

Then collect a Box fro the lower shelf of the cupboard. View this box in your inventory to see a puzzle.

Box Maze Puzzle

Work out the route through the maze from the top left to the bottom right.

Get the three symbols that you pass on the way and use these as the code in the center.

Collect a Brush from the box.

Next view the small drawer unit by the bed, add the wheel handle to it.

Turn the wheel to open the drawer, collect some Corn. View the corn in your inventory to see that some of the kernels have colors.

Next tap on the wall on the right, above the bed to see a dusty drawing.

Use the brush here to clean it off, it is a bird and some of the feathers have colors.

Now view the Wallet in your inventory and use the clues above to get the combination.

Use this to open the door.

Level 38 - Duarte de Sousa

Collect a Wooden Handle from the far left of the room and a Broken Axe from the floor by the bed.

View the Broken axe in your inventory and add the handle to it to repair it and get the Axe

Next view the Radio on the left of the room, collect the Antenna and a Button.

Open the red first aid box on the wall by the window and collect a Paper Clue.

Now use the Axe on the door on the right to break it open. Go through to the next room.

View a large radio unit on the left of the room.

Add the Antenna to this to collect a Piece of Paper. Then also add the Button to get a second piece of paper.

View the first piece of paper in your inventory and then add the second one to it. You will now have a Note with four symbols.

Next view a drawer on the right of the room to see a code lock, you need to enter the four symbols from the note.

Collect from the drawer a Bear, a Fish and a Waterlily.

Then collect a Frog from the top of the drawers on the right.

View the Water Lily in your inventory and add the Frog to it, yo uwill get the Frog figurine.

Then view the Bear in your inventory and add the Fish to it, you will get the Bear Figurine.

Next collect the Elephant Figurine from the bed in the center, then view the box on the bed.

Place the three figurines onto the box in the positions A, B and C according to the paper clue.

Collect the Pass code from the box.

Use this on the keypad to escape the room.

Level 39 - Oleksiy Shevchenko

Collect a Razor from the toilet seat on the left. Then view the pillow on the bed, use the Razor to cut the stitching and collect a Key.

Next view the paper on the wall above the bed to see a clue of four letters.

Then view the Nesting doll on the stool to the right to see a code entry. Use the four letter here to open it, collect Blue Gems.

Next lift the green mat on the floor to collect another Key.Then view the box on the wall by the candles. Use the two keys here to open it and collect Yellow Gems.

Now view the round pot on the floor, this is a puzzle.

Gems Puzzle

Add the blue and yellow gems to it to begin.

The puzzle has pairs of colored gems at each end of different shapes lines.

Tap the scroll of paper on the floor to see an arrangement of gems.

Drag and swap the gems on the pot to match the layout on the paper.

Collect the Pass code from the pot.

Use this on the keypad to exit the room.

Level 40 - Coffee

Collect a pot of Coffee fro the machine to the left of the window.

Next look in the drawers on the right, collect a Star Wrench and an Electric Switch.

Next view the Vent cover above the door. Use the Star wrench to remove the bolts.

Collect the Screws and a Straw.

View the Electric switch in your inventory and then add the screws to it.

Now view the red electrical panel by the door.

Add the Electric switch with the screws to it. Then select and place the 3 wires to the matching colored sockets.

You can now view a small panel to the right of the door. This has four lights at the top and buttons at the bottom.

The first light is flashing blue. Tap the lower left button until it is blue, this makes the center blue. Tap the center button to activate the first light.

You then see the second light flash purple. Change the lower right button to be red, so that the center is now purple.

Press the center button to activate the second light.

Repeat this with the next two lights for the colors Orange and Green. Match the buttons below to make those colors for the center button.

Once done the door is open. Go out to the Hall.

Tap the man to see that he wants coffee. Give the Coffee pot to the man and he will give you a WD can. View the can in your inventory and add the straw to it. You have the WD spray.

Collect Some Rusty Bolt Cutters from the seat on the left. Then view these in your inventory. Add the WD spray to them.

Now view the yellow cabinet by the man, use the Bolt cutters to cut the chain. Collect a USB drive.

Go back into the room and view the screen on the right wall. Add the USB drive to it to see a clue.

There are 4 types of item on the screen.

Go back to the hall and view the box on top of the yellow cabinet. This requires a 4 digit code.
