How do I beat the boss in the junkyard, the trashman?

You will need to have a long range weapon so that you can shoot from distance and run away when he attacks. Try to just focus on the boss.
Make sure to have some food and meds for healing and of course your best gear.

With him or the bear I find it super easy to just use a chainsaw. You'll take some damage but can usually beat them fairly quickly.
