At the market, you should see the icon from the main game screen you can either purchase premium chests or open free ones. The game gives you up to 5 free chests per day, one is available every two hours. You can also find there chests which come available for free after you reach a certain level.

In the chest you will find an assortment of shards, equipable items and other things to help you in the game, such as memory spheres. Each check category is different and targeted to one thing or another, check the descriptions of the premium chests to make sure any that you purchase have a chance of getting the items that you are looking for.
