PVP option is missing from missions, anyone know why?

I don't know what the cause was but one of our squad members had the exact same problem yesterday. There been a lot of strange things happening . And the pvp points are all over the place . People are losing there points for no reason and others are gaining them .
There's obviously a lot of work going on with the servers and hopefully it will settle very soon.
