Gear, is the clothes you wear, which protects you from instant death during Player Versus Player (PvP) battles. You can upgrade each piece and get higher gear ratings.

Fire Rate, is how fast your weapon shoots. It's useless if you're going through the cities, but helps during PvP Battles
