Try to remember where all the key characters are that you need to interact with as after you complete parts of quests you may need re-visit them to complete the activity, such as catching fish, then taking them to be sold.

You catch fish by going close to water, in the beginning you wont have a boat, so make your way to a pier and click your mouse to cast your rod. When the fish is on the hook, you'll see bubbles and you'll need to click at a rate which keeps the bar in the middle otherwise it will escape.
