How can I transfer my progress to another phone?

I don't about y'all, Well for me it worked,(by the way I'm speaking about Android to android )

I didn't insert the same sim,

I just added my email to through which I had logged in penguin isle ( the Google Play games one) to my new phone,

Then I download penguin isle

And nothing regarding that popped on my screen,

But as I was playing,

Something popped on my screen saying "You are having a process of the game on another phone,Will you like to continue that and what will you like to continue it through?

Then I continued through cloud,

And then all of that process which I had on the other phone of penguin isle had come on my new phone..

This moment is so heart glittering,

I hope this works by the way,
