By Richard Gardner | Oct 15th 2026

Welcome to this week's roundup of the best new mobile games on iPhone and Android. Two well-known brawlers lead the way, with Sifu and Streets of Rage 4 both landing on phones, and we've added the strongest iOS and Android releases from the last fortnight too.

Sifu brings Sloclap's kung fu revenge story to mobile on 12 October, and Streets of Rage 4 is now on iOS and Android through the Crunchyroll Game Vault. 9 Kings launched on the same day as Sifu, and The Traitors: Interactive Game puts you in the castle from the hit TV show.

For fans of cozy arcade style games, then Hugstorm may be one for you to look out for as well

Here's the full list.

Hugstorm: Cozy Crowd Battle

Release: 16 October 2026

Hugstorm: Cozy Crowd Battle
Hugstorm: Cozy Crowd Battle

Hugstorm is a cozy crowd battler for iPhone, iPad and Android. Hold to pour a storm of Pips, tiny creatures with a sprout on their heads, from your Seed Pot, slide to aim them through gates that multiply your crowd, and hug the Glums, grumpy grey creatures marching down the meadow, instead of fighting them — nobody gets hurt.

Every hug grows a flower and brings colour back to the valley. Between battles, players restore their village, the Grove, and collect Guardians, our own creatures that fuse an animal with a garden object. 1,000 levels, weekly leagues and a season pass keep it fresh. Free to play, kid-safe by design.

The game is free with optional in-app purchases. Nothing in the shop is random: chests only come from playing, and every item shows exactly what's inside. Players under 13 get no pop-up offers and no personalised ads.

Sifu

Release: 12 October 2026

Sloclap's martial arts brawler Sifu arrives on iPhone, iPad and Android on 12 October, published by Kepler Interactive. It's a premium release at $7.99.

It's a revenge story. You're hunting the people who killed your family, and an amulet brings you back every time you die, but each revival makes you older. The fights take you through a nightclub, an art gallery and an office building.

The mobile version of Sifu adds touch controls designed for phones, and it has full controller support if you'd rather play with a pad.

Crunchyroll: Streets of Rage 4

Release: 10 October 2026

SEGA's beat 'em up is now on iOS and Android as Streets of Rage 4, part of the Crunchyroll Game Vault. You'll need a Crunchyroll Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan membership to play it.

A criminal syndicate has taken over Wood Oak City, and Axel, Blaze, Cherry and Floyd are out to take it back. You chain punches, kicks and specials into combos, and pick up pipes and bottles from the street to use as weapons.

There's a story mode, arcade and survival modes, and online co-op if you want to clear the streets with a friend. Streets of Rage 4 has touch controls on mobile and supports Bluetooth controllers.

9 Kings

Release: 12 October 2026

Sad Socket's kingdom builder 9 Kings reached iOS and Android on 12 October, published on mobile by Playdigious. It's free to try, with a one-off unlock for the full game.

You pick one of nine kings, each with a different starting deck, and grow your kingdom by placing cards for buildings, towers and troops. Rival kings attack, and beating them lets you take cards from their decks into your own.

The mobile release adds a Quest Mode with set challenges and asynchronous multiplayer against eight rival kings. Progress carries across to the PC version too.

The Traitors: Interactive Game

Release: 5 October 2026

The hit TV show comes to phones as The Traitors: Interactive Game, made by Fusebox Games, the studio behind Love Island: The Game and Big Brother: The Game.

You spend 12 days in the castle alongside 22 other players, playing either as one of the Faithful or secretly as a Traitor. At the start you choose a trait, Leader, Chameleon or Wildcard, which shapes how the others see you.

Each day there are missions that add to the prize pot and earn shields to protect you from that night's murder. Then it's the Round Table, where alliances, theories and votes decide who gets banished.

Bloons Blitz

Release: 30 September 2026

Ninja Kiwi launched Bloons Blitz worldwide on iOS and Android on 30 September. It's a survivors-style spin-off of the Bloons series.

Instead of placing towers, you lead a squad of monkeys into battle against hundreds of bloons at once, recruiting new monkeys with different weapons as you go. Each run gives you upgrade choices that shape your team.

The Operator

Release: Early October 2026

Bureau 81's detective puzzler The Operator is now on iOS and Android, following its release on PC and Switch. It's free to try, with a one-off purchase to unlock the full game.

You're a new recruit at the FDI, working from a computer terminal to support agents in the field. Cases include murders, missing persons and cyber attacks, and you crack them by analysing videos, photos and databases. Along the way, the trail starts pointing towards a cybercriminal called HAL.

Winter Burrow

Release: Late September 2026

Pine Creek Games' cosy survival game Winter Burrow is now out on iOS and Android, published by Noodlecake. It's free to try, with an unlock for the full game.

You play a mouse returning to your childhood burrow, only to find it in ruins and your aunt missing. Getting through the winter means gathering resources, crafting tools, knitting warm clothes and cooking, while you fix up your home and work out what happened to her.

Namco Legendary Mountains

Release: 24 September 2026

BeXide's voxel puzzler Namco Legendary Mountains reached iOS and Android on 24 September, after launching on Switch and PC in June. It's a premium release at $8.99.

You toss voxel capsules onto the playing field, and when two of the same kind collide, they merge into a bigger one. The aim is to keep everything on the field without letting anything fall off.

There are over 100 voxels to collect, all based on classic Namco arcade characters, with PAC-MAN and Dig Dug among them.

That's the list for this week. Looking ahead, The House of Tesla: Definitive Edition lands on iOS and Android on 20 October, and Bandai Namco's restaurant management game ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet follows later in the month. We're also keeping an eye on Monster Hunter Rise, which has appeared on the App Store and Google Play as a Netflix Games soft launch, with no global release date announced yet.
