Should I spend coins on expanding the inventory slots?

Its very useful to have the inventory slots to place items you want to hang on to but not use right now. Handy for items for quests, extra coffee grinders you don't need yet or XP stars you are trying to merge up. But you may want to keep the coins to buy some energy or needed items in the store.
