How do I manage my health, hunger, and thirst?
Last Day on Earth: Survival Guide
Since this is a survival game, there are aspects in the game that you need to monitor in order to keep your character alive. If you check your inventory through the bag icon, you'll also find your HP bar here as well as your status.
HP: This refers to your health points. You need to make sure that this doesn't deplete to zero or else you'll die. In order to keep up your health, make sure to dodge enemy attacks when possible, or take out enemies fast. You can recover your HP by eating food, or using any meds that you have available. You can also manage your HP by wearing clothing that provides you with increased defense.
Hunger: When checking your Status, you should see a stomach icon indicating your hunger level. You need to make sure that your character is satiated or else you'll be hungry. You can gather wild berries, or cook food using a bonfire in order to restore your hunger. Time spent in the game while gathering, fighting, or being idle will use your hunger.
Thirst: Aside from eating, you'll also need to drink water in order to stay hydrated. You should be able to find water bottles in the game that you can use to drink. If you have empty water bottles, you can refill them. Check your blueprints to see the level requirement to make a Rain Catcher. ime spent in the game while gathering, fighting, or being idle will use your thirst.
Tip: When starting your game, make sure to craft your Campfire, Garden Bed, and Rain Catcher as soon as possible so you can cook and gather water. You can also exit your home base and go to the map in order for you to pause your hunger and thirst.
