How to get the Star (Outer Space)

The star Ball is one of the hardest to get in the game. It is also one of the coolest looking with the rainbow tail and starry effects when you hit the smooth landing bonuses.
The method to unlock it is simple but very hard to achieve. You need to jump high, REALLY high. Forget the moon and beyond. It is roughly as far again beyond the 'and beyond' height as 'and beyond' is beyond the moon!. And if that makes sense to you then its time to stop drinking.
There are a number of videos posted attempting to show how high the jump needs to be from people who have already unlocked it. They often recommend using the graphical looking background that has lines at the markers for the 'moon' height and the 'and beyond' height. You can see this below.
BUT: This video shows the star actually unlocking, although quite why its been uploaded sideways we don't know. It does show that the ball unlocks with the high jump as described.
