Strategy, Hints, and Tips
Crazy Escape Guide
Basic game play is pretty straight forward at least in terms of your goals - which is to make as short a path (or road) as possible, while managing to collect all three stars, the sheep, and any additional objectives that are part of the level.
That said, there are a few tips and a hint or two that will really help you shine and master the game.
Out of the Box Thinking
While it is probably not intentional, the learning process that is delivered by the first half-dozen levels tends to reinforce in the mind of the player that they should start on the left and work their way to an exit on the right - or down, or up - whatever.
That is a bad habit to form because often the ideal solution is found by using any starting point other than the one on the left!
When you are examining a new level try to remember that thinking outside of the box is often the only way to score perfectly.
Pay Attention to Instructions
The higher the level of levels you get the more likely that it is that there will be a special condition as part of the objectives. That can be a leader wolf (the one chasing you) dragging a sheep behind it that you need to also free - OR - the leader chasing one or more sheep in front of it as it chases after YOU.
Knowing any special requirements for the level will keep you from getting frustrated and improves your chances of getting a good score the first time out instead of needing to repeat a level.
Go for a Clean Complete
Scoring a perfect run the first time out is always the goal - but when the level has complicated objectives it is often better to simply complete it and collect everything and then go on to the next level. You can return to the levels you did not get top scores in later to retry them and figure out the optimal solution later.
Objects and Sheep
The first time you fail to get all of the stars as well as the sheep will teach you that the stars are just as important as the sheep in terms of score! Remember to include the stars in your planned route!
