How do you make a netherworld portal ?

First you dig one block underground and then another next to it then make obsidians by putting

Water on lave and mine them with diamond pickax and put them in the two spaces and then put three obsidian high on one end and also on the other , then cover it from above too , and then you find flind and then steel and then craft it to make flint and steel and then click in the space between the portal and then you have the nether portal .
