Poppy Playtime Cheats and Tips

Poppy playtime is a survival horror game created by MOB Games. Set in an 'abandoned' toy factory, and with a similar feel to FNAF you will need to be on the look out for some cuddly creatures that are not safe for kids at any age.

The game is a first person puzzle solving adventure filled with jump scares and a creepy atmosphere to keep you on your toes.

The game is set in the factoy of Playtime Co. Once one of the worlds leading Toy companies but now shut down and abandoned. You play as a former employee who left the company before its collapse. Having received a note from other company staff that reportedly disappeared 10 years ago you have ventured back.

As you play though the game you will encounter various evil toys as well as Video tapes and notes that offer more clues to the background of the company, the factory and the fate of those that worked there.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 1

Chapter 1 is called A Tight Squeeze and is an introduction to the game. You will find yourself locked in the Playtime Co. factory at the start and need to get past the front desk to get inside and investigate what is going on.

This chapter features Huggy Wuggy as the deadly enemy who may be lurking around the corner to give you the biggest (and last) hug of your life. You will need to solve puzzles and collect your GrabPack tool to let you work your way through the 'almost' deserted corridors of your former work place.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2

Chapter 2 is called a Fly in the Web. You have escaped from the clutches of Huggy Wuggy and found Poppy who wants to help you. But you now face a new danger, Mommy Long Legs, an incredibly stretchy and overly menacing mommy figure who wants to test you in a series of games.

Find your way to the Game Station to board the train that can take you out of the factory to freedom. But first you need to complete the many challenges that Mommy Long Legs has in store for you. Complete the games and avoid the other evil toys that are waiting to end your play time so rthat you can collect the clues you need to ride the train.

This chapter is a lot longer than the first and will take some time and patience to complete. For help and advice on completing all of the puzzles and challenges in Chapter 2 you can follow our full walkthrough.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 3

Chapter 3 is currently in development and due for release soon. Titled as Deep Sleep it will feature a new playtime enemy to escape from and a new game play mechanic. We look forward to playing it and updating you on the game when it is available.

Hints and Tips for Poppy Playtime

When playing through the chapters in Poppy Playtime you will encounter a lot of strange happenings and rooms with tricky puzzles to complete. We have a list of some useful tips to help you find your way.

• Dieing is not the end

  In many parts of the game your life is in danger. Evil enemies may chase you or falls into some pits can also kill you. But the game is forgiving. The auto save will bring you back at the most recent checkpoint to try again and there is no penalty.

• Take your time

  Apart from a few sections of the game where you are being chased you will not need to rush trough any other areas. You can check carefully the rooms and passages that you find yourself in. The exception is for a few of the puzzles where there maybe a short time window to complete a process. But these can all be repeated as many times as required to get it right.

• Get used to the GrabPack tool

  The GrabPack is your main tool for getting through the obstacles of the game and solving the circuits and other puzzles. At times you will have 1 or 2 'hands' that you can use and these hands can have different uses that allow you to interact with your environment in different ways.

  Make sure to understand how the 'hands' work and what you can do with them in each chapter.

• Explore the factory

  In general your path through the factory is set, but it is still worth checking around and exploring the rooms and walkways as you go. The game will have Video tapes with back story to watch and other collectible items to pick up along the way. As mentioned before, although it can get pretty creepy in the dark recessed of the factory you are not usually in immediate danger and can take your time to look around.

• Check the brightness settings

  The game is very dark by default and although this adds well to the creepy atmosphere of the game it can in parts be almost impossible to make out some areas that you need to move around. If you struggle to see at all then you can go to the pause menu and increase the in game brightness to help out.
