Miss Delight is another of the main characters that you encounter in Chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime. While she is not the pervading evil menace of CatNap that is the focus of the most recent chapter in the game, she is still a formidable adversary in Chapter 3 and a firm favorite for many fans.

Originally a kindly teacher in the Orphanage's School House she has since become murderously insane. Now she watches over the halls to catch anyone wandering without a hall pass. Then gives chase with a uniquely terrifying style of attack.

Where do we see Miss Delight

Miss Delight is encountered when we enter the School House in Chapter 3. This is her territory and if you don't behave then you will be taught a lesson. Initially we head only her cheery voice on the intercom although it soon becomes clear from the conversations she seems to have with 'Barb', her spiked weapon of choice, that she is not going to be out friend.

When you eventually reach the generator room and try to use it she then appears and destroys it. From here on we are caught in a surreal chase sequence where we must find our way through the locked rooms and doors all while keeping our eyes on Miss Delight.

Miss Delight

Her own defense and attack mechanism means that she will stand perfectly when you look at her, but will home in on you as soon as you look away. If you cannot see Miss Delight then she is gaining ground and planning to kill.

Miss Delight does not appear in any of the precious chapters of the game and as far as we know will not be returning. Although as popular as she has proved to be after the release of chapter 3 it is possible they might include her again.

What do we know about Miss Delight

Miss Delight was created as a teacher for the school in Playcare. One of many possibly identical 'sisters' that taught the orphans and took care of them. She seems to have been kind to the children before the incident.

After being locked in to the school by CatNap it seems she was singled out by the other teachers to die / starve and this led to her turning on them and killing them all. From notes in the game we find out that she would stand perfectly still if anyone looked at her so that they would think she was dead, then attack them when they were not looking.

She caries a spiked weapon that she calls Barb and has conversations with believing it to be a real person.

We also find out in the game that her murderous rage is so great that she would have killed all of the children in the school if CatNap had not taken them and hidden them from her.

What happens to Miss Delight

After the frightening chase through the school rooms and halls Miss Delight eventually gives up the game of statues and chases you down a corridor. But you are able to close a gate and crush her. This seems to be the end of Miss Delight. She was only a supporting villain in Chapter 3 and her section of the game was short which is a shame.

Could one of her sisters still survive somewhere in Playtime Co. or could she be reanimated in someway to torture us again.
