With the tools that are stored on the bottom, how do they work and what do I have to wait for to be able to use them?

You need this as the story progresses to renovate buildings. On your map you can click on a building and see what you need for the next building upgrade. Tools do not cost any storage once they have reached the final level (tap on them to store)
