Why does this game have the genre horror? What is the scary part?

You get chased around a school by a mad teacher trying to smack you with a ruler! Scary enough for ya?

I'm pretty sure It's baldi chasing you at a fast pace, or either him scaring you.

School is hard enough and then they make a game out of it.
If that doesn't scare you then there's a teacher with a ruler running around when the answer wrong trying to kill you.
