Basic Tips and Tricks

Here are some basic tips and tricks for the best arcade racer in a long while. Smashy Road: Wanted is not just good-looking, but it also provides fun, fun, and more fun! It will be all mayhem, and you will get caught (or get wasted) but that does not mean the entire journey is not worth it.

1.) Stars mean celebrity. The more stars there are blinking in the screen, the more police cars come around. At first, it would be your normal patrol cars, then it would be jeeps, and then humvees, and then the tanks will be unleashed once you hit the extreme notoriety levels!

2.) Some things explode; some things can't be moved. Familiarize yourself to things that can be easily be moved over, and those that will stop your vehicle no matter how big it is. Vegetation and fences explode upon contact. Most cars can be moved over easily (though this depends on your car), Buildings stay still even if you hit them with a truck, boulders also, and most especially, the Pyramids.

3.) Collect the cash on your way out. Most of the time, cash are found lying in the middle of the street. Yes, they are just worth a little. Are they worth it? Yes, every bit. They are just "1" in-game dollar but they are worth it. Not just because it accumulates to cash, but getting them while being on the run will allow you to learn the controls and your car's characteristics. At first, cash-grabbing may be difficult when you get in the streets. Watching 30-second ads will not teach you how to play the game properly, and gets boring quick.

4.) How do you turn this on? . You will be surprised on the wild variety of the cars. They may look the same but they have different characteristics. As mentioned in the review, the vehicles are varied in different categories: stability (ability to withstand incoming crashes), maximum speed, acceleration, turn rate, and even their size. The Legendary and Epic cars are indeed great with their beefier specs, however, do not underestimate the Common and Rare cars. (Admittedly, the default car, the first vehicle that you will use, for the lack of a better adjective, sucks. ). My favorite vehicle, so far, is Orange. This is a Common car that is nothing special, but I find it the right size and the right speed for my playstyle. Do not pout when you get the Common cars in the slot machine, they might be the right car for you.

5.) Road Rage. Feel free to wreak havoc everywhere. Feel free to go off-road. Be careful with the rivers as you cannot cross over water. You will be wasted there. But I will recommend you try drowning once because all of the cop vehicles will jump into the water to get you! A comic relief indeed. Most of the secret locations are found off the main roads, so better explore. Remember, you cannot “hide” from the cops, they are locked down on you, so do not even attempt to hide in the buildings or park near civilian cars.
